At this month’s meeting the Board enthusiastically approved a proposal to build a new Artistic Flagstone Patio. Board President and Environmental Artist Bryan Morse and his fiancé Donna Ray have agreed to donate all labor and materials needed to construct an Artistic Flagstone patio comprised of fields of varying colors of Idaho Quartzite separated by fine bands of 3/4” pebbles and colored glass. The east side of the patio shall be encompassed by a natural rock seat wall. The pebble bands shall rise up the face of the wall and across the top.
Plans for the new patio that was named by the artist as “I Raggi Crescenti di Amore” (The Growing Rays of Love) have been submitted to the Vista Public Arts Commission for the required review and approval before the project may commence.
